Phase 1 of Pre-Op

Hello, phase 1 started on July 17th, 2014. Once I started in phase 1, I need to do a bunch of different things:

Nutrition Needs Education Class

Bariatric Pre & Post Op Education Class with written test

Attend 1 Support group meeting

Nutrition Consultation

Healthy Lifestyle Classes (Series of 3)

6 Month Doctor Supervised Weight Loss program, with failed results (proof from doctor stating failed weight loss program)

Lose 10% of your excess body weight

Start Written or Online Food Journal and Regular Physical Activity

Psychological Exam

Sleep Study

Wellness check from primary care provider, with pap smear

Each doctor has different requirement of what you will need to do, but I am sure it is similar. This journey will be ex citing and full of surprises.  I am logging food and not seeing many areas that I am able to remove calories from, it is hard because my issue is hormonal, and this makes quite a difference in the overall success/progress with this journey.
